Description
The area is strewn with rock but most are small and Morro Rock proper is off limits to climbing (unless you are a member of an Indian Tribe and have to do some ritual up there). One rock facing the harbor has a short aid line on it (it is not off limits). It is breifly mentioned in the Slater Guide as Jonah.
Getting There
Follow the signs to Morro Rock. It's the enormous chunk of rock forming part of the mouth of the Harbor. From San Luis Obispo take Hwy 1 to Morro Bay. Exit on Morro Bay Blvd. Take this toward the Harbor. Turn right on Main St. Go Three blocks and turn left on Beach St. This will T into Embarcadero. Turn right. Follow this out to Morro Rock. The Harbor Rocks will be on your left as you face the Rock.
