Description
Sun-top Tower is a great formation found midway up the West Bluff. The climbs here are generally pretty long and clean with nice exposure and aesthetic lines. The formation is secluded, so don't be surprised if you have the climbs to yourself.
Getting There
To find the Sun-top Tower hike along the base of the West Bluff on the Tumbled Rocks Trail. There is a large talus field north of the cabins (referred to as the 150-ft boulder field). There is a faint path on the south edge of this boulder field that ascends the slope through the trees. Hike up this path to the Sun-top Tower formation. You will first see "First Tower" and "Sun-Top Tower". To get to "Great Tower" hike around the south side of "Sun-Top Tower".
You could also descend from the top of the West Bluff, from Prospect Point.
