Description 

Long easy to moderate routes on solid limestone featured rock, full of tufas, pockets, and stalagtites. The walls within this beautiful alcove are protected from the sun all day. We climbed during heavy rain and we stayed dry. No issue with crowds in Borneo, of course, but Zoo-goers might be curious to watch and ask questions or a python or crocodile might escape a rusty cage.

Getting There 

Coming from Kuching, through the town of Bau, Turn into the road to Serikin (Indonesian Market) and park after 200m at the Red Turn Mini Zoo and Restaurant on your left. You'll see a large artifical rock shed before the entrance to the Zoo.

Enter the Zoo (you may have to pay the $1.50 entry fee).
Opening Hours 9am-5pm, closed Mondays. The Owners encourage rock climbing and route development.

In the Zoo, walk down the main path to the right and turn left at the deer cage. Enter the jungle and scramble across a gully and up steeply to the rock face.
