Description Suggest change

Super overhanging wall which offers some awesome, hard routes. The climbing starts at 6 (there's an old 3 which never gets climbed), but in order to have a good time here, you should be comfortable on 9 (5.12d). Routes towards the left side of the crag are typically athletic climbing on small pockets and crimps, while the climbing on the right is powerful pocket pulling.

Getting There Suggest change

From Nürnberg, take the A73 North to Bamberg and the A70 East towards Bayreuth. Take the exit at Stadelhofen and follow the signs to Stadelhofen and Kleinziegenfeld. When you reach Kleinziegenfeld, you'll drive through the town and then it'll kind of die down and if you've driven around in the Frankenjura before (or Europe in general), you'll think you've left the town. Never fear, you're coming up on a church which is still in Kleinziegenfeld. Once you reach the church, turn left to drive up the hill on the other side of the church from the direction you approached it. After taking this left, directly in front of you will be a parking lot about 100m from the turn and you'll be able to see the Kleinziegenfelder Wand right in front of you. 2 minute walk to crag.
