River sandstone bouldering area!!! Great for a day or two of fun if you are in the area and really easy approach. Variety of problems so there is fun here for everyone.

I have not been able to get with some of the guys that developed it or found a complete topo to reference so thought there are many problems listed I am not certain of first ascents or even the names of the routes if they are listed wrong just message me or email me and i'll get to fixin em right away!

Getting There

Manford, OK nestled west of Tulsa about 20 minutes or so. From highway 51 and highway 48 head north about a mile or so. park near the train tracks (safely please) and walk west down the train tracks to the river. head south along the small cliff band until you reach your desired area!

Me on Hurts Rail Good. super route.

Hurts Rail Good V8 7B  OK : Zen Pen : Zen Pen Area
Hop up on the little slabby rail holding onto the side pull jug thing low on the route. Move through the two other rails the trend up and right. I've seen this section campused or you can get an awkward high foot and throw for the top. Hard either way. ...[more]   Browse More Classics in OK

from what i've seen it's best to go when it's really cold or hasn't rained for a long while. i've seen the rock sweat pretty bad on hot days too. prepare to get muddy.

does anyone know where I can get a topo or guidebook for this place?

Does anyone know a legal way to get to this location other than a boat along the river? The area on both sides of the railroad are marked No Trespassing and the adjacent land to the railroad is marked as private property. Parking your car at the small paved turnout on the north side would surely attract the interests of the railroad police or the landowners.
