Access Issue: Display Discover Pass, do not block gates, and park off the road
Details
DNR wants to pass on a friendly reminder to display your Discover Pass, not block any gates, and park well off the road to prevent getting ticketed or towed. Access Fund and Washington Climbers Coalition continue to partner with DNR on stewardship and management of the Gold Bar Boulders and their access sites. Learn more about getting outdoors on DNR-managed lands on our website: dnr.wa.gov/go
Description
Boulders located in the forest along the climbers trail leading to Zeke's Wall. West of the West Forest Boulders. There are still plenty of beautiful unclimbed problems up here, go exploring!
Getting There
Approach as for West Forest Boulders, getting all the way to the noticeable arete of "Beam me Up". Head directly uphill for a minute, looking for a somewhat faint left fork toward "Mr. Brightside" and "Chewbacca". Follow the trail past these boulders, switchbacking uphill until you arrive at a flat plateau with boulders visible above. A left fork here will bring you to "Sunspots" while the right fork brings you to the main cluster.
