Description Suggest change

Climb thin ice in a narrow right facing dihedral/chimney. After 50-60 ft pull onto a turfy ramp and finish on fun and thick WI 2. There is a good aspen tree at the top for rappel. Bring your mixed attitude as the bottom is often thin and difficult to protect without rock pro. Takes good knife blades. Good rock and exciting chimney moves make this a highway classic.

Location Suggest change

300 ft right of Morning Star gully, 400 ft above the highway. Park at Beluga Point or Sunshine Ridge and walk down the highway to the base of the obvious scree gully. Bushwhack up and right from the base of the gully to the climb. About 5 miles from the weigh station.

Protection Suggest change

Pins, cams to 1", screws, tree anchor
