Yellow C4 and Silver X4 on JOHNNY VEGAS.

My wife had her first trad follow on JV yesterday. She couldn't get the cams out so she left them with the runners attached. That was yesterday. Tues the 24th. We rapped down to the BEULAH BOOK start then went home. She was rattled. We came thru the entrance at 6am this morning (wednesday) and waited for it to warm up and explained to another couple what happened and they were cool with retrieving the gear/returning it. At 8am we walked in to have another go at JV and was surprised to see several parties on the route. I guess some parties hiked in from the road. So, we are hoping that if you were the parties that hiked in and you have our yellow and Silver cams that we can hook up. We are here climbing through next week and live in the bay area. Well, you're in luck. I saw your sling hanging from the first pitch of jv after running through the route and hanging out on upper solar slab. We were all pretty tired from the day but I was able to talk my partner into belaying me up to the piece. It was hard to get out but after a 15 minutes, and heavy persuasion it came loose. It was really jammed in there good. It was a fun down climb and I was pretty stoked to have pulled out that brand new gear. I'm down in Phoenix climbing Queen Creek but will be back in Vegas tomorrow if you're still around!

Todd, on Dan's behalf, thanks for returning the cam. Dan's on Meetup Wall today (Friday), but we're at site #10 if that is easier for you. Our buddy Jeremy is hanging out in camp all day. I get there around dinner time. If I've arrived when you come by, you can have whatever brewskis from my cooler you please as a token of our thanks.
