BETA PHOTO: Looking from Clear Lake

Description

A fine piece of granite that begs to be climbed. There are a few sections to the rock for different routes.

Looking at Haystack from Clear Lake, it has a long north shoulder that gradually steepens to a tower. This is the north tower. To the south of the tower is a long, but lower face called the Center section. The last section is called the South End.

Getting There

From Clear Lake, follow a trail and scramble over glaciated terrain to its base.
