Description

Obscure spire/outcrop in the Vedauwoo backcountry. The rock is high quality, with potential for a half-dozen quality lines.

Getting There

From the Nautilus parking area drive East / North East on RT. 700 - same backdoor dirt road approach as for Spelunk Spire or End of the Road Rock. 4WD is more than just nice.

  • Take the 1st left after Crow Creek.
  • Take the 2nd left - Road 700B.
  • Stay right at the 1st Y in road.
  • Go left at the 2nd Y in road - Road 700BB.

The outcrop appears over the tops of pine trees, several hundred yards distant on the left after you pass the Labyrinth. The Labyrinth is also on the left - a complex of beautiful angular boulders that form a low crag complex. Park and hike to crag.

FYI - If you keep driving, you'll reach the End of the Road Rock.
