| I'd like to add to my collection. I prefer pre 70's gear (1920-1960s) but sometimes I'll buy all the way up to the early 80's. ..just depends. Let me know! | FLAG |

I've got an old Chouinard Oval... Not an expert on old gear, but it is pretty old. Good shape, too. Found it clipped to a Nalgene clipped to a bolt halfway up a pitch on Idiopathic-- Same day we also discovered that Nalgenes really are bombproof... ;) PM if you want it and I'll send pics. | FLAG |

| I have an old piton from Layton kor pulled off the route ruper. The second I climbed with pulled it somehow and when she got to the top I was shocked she had gotten it out. It is from the fourth pitch. I got this in the early 2000s. Anyway. Is this something u would by. Would love to trade for an old ABC prism if you have one | FLAG |

| Back in early 70's, you had to tie your own piece of cord through a thick metal Chouinard hexentric nut; no wired versions back then down to about a size 4. The metal was a different alloy of aluminum than they use today, and much thicker on larger sizes. They drilled holes in them to lighten them up....and they crushed upon impact I understand quite a few times. I've got a couple various sizes,, 7 to 9,,,will give up 2 of them complete with their funky old perlon cords, shipped anywhere in the continental US for $35.00 priority mail. These are originals, used in 70's in the Gunks. | FLAG |
