Times must be hard when people are selling the instruction tags from gear. And to think I've thrown out TONS of these!! |
|
People can get really creative in hard times- not a bad thing. I probably wouldn't have ever started bottle digging (digging up old bottles to sell, and trade) if I wasn't dead broke, and desperate at the time, and those digs turned out to be some of the most exciting adventures of my life. |

I once saw used strippers shoes, okay, it was "Exotic Dancer" shoes for sale on ebay. It had several bidders, and was up to 78.50 (I never did check to see what it ended at, as I wasn't interested, and it was nasty). The shoes, that were a cheapish brand of pumps were beat up, and it even showed a piece of a bandaid stuck on the inner back of one of the shoes, and the seller desrcibed all the war wounds, and such. The seller had a photo of a woman in a miniskirt sitting on a couch with her legs crossed, and the shoes on, but not showing her face. I must say, the ad looked very professional. |

I think I just threw up a little in my mouth.... |

Sorry, Scott, I haven't brewed my coffee yet (just woke up, and my hair is sticking up). |

How can you pass up instructions from "Black Diamond Brand RELAYS & QUICKDRAWS" |
|

The best way to start a small business with the current leadership in this country is to have a big business first! |

If you dig through the viewable items in his feedback list he has sold, hubcaps, lengths of chain, and 5 packs of cassette tape cases. |
|
I had to add... this is another of his auctions although not climbing related.
cgi.ebay.com/4-ASSORTED-ITE… Please note at the bottom of his auction for bottles of pills... "All are new or like new - should be O.K. in-spite of age stamps Wow. |

Kurt Ross wrote:I have nice shaved and oiled legs if anyone needs some.--- Invalid image id: 106535285 --- That'll work. Hmmm, which MPer can come up with the best, most provocative, detailed description to get the most bidders, and top dollar for shoes used, and abused by Kurt? I have a few in mind. |
|
I'd bid on the tags if they had coffee stains of Jesus, Mary and Spiro Agnew. |

No 100 buck Aliens though. What, no 8-tracks for sale? I've got a drawer full of harness and biner tags(so idiotic that EACH biner purchased now must have an individual tag warning us how Not to use it) I'll be rich on ebay within hours when I post up my old jumar and Leeper 'Z piton tags. |
