World record attempt to benefit Operation Smile

What's the best thing about climbing? The chance to spend a day at the crag and a night around the campfire with your friends? The tasty post-session brew? The unsolicited giggles and ear to ear grin that appear from the simple joy of moving upward?
For people born with facial deformities, these pleasures may not be available. Social ostracism, mechanical difficulties even eating, and ancillary health risks deny the chance for many to live the life we love so much.
In aid of Operation Smile, I'm going to have a go at 25,000 vertical feet in 24 hours, the ostensible opening bid for Guinness.
So for a day in early May 2011, I'll be hucking laps on a little pebble here in Boulder to try to raise money to help a few kids out.
If you can, please help change someone's life. Any little bit helps.
One Big Day
Thanks!
