Description

Dutchman Rampart is a group of broken walls on the north side of Misery Gully above The Frigate. The formation contains a dozen moderate climbs that tend not to be very aesthetic. Might as well try some of them though. You might find something you like.

Getting There

Park in the lot across from the boat landing on the southwest end of the lake and hike up the West Bluff Trail. About 3/4 of the way up turn right on to the climbers trail and head east toward the Misery Rocks area. The trail ends on top of Misery Rocks. Descend the gully on the south side of Misery Rocks and traverse north (left) across Misery Gully. Aim for the broken walls above The Frigate.
