RV getting after it.

Description

The Monolith Area is a really nice bouldering area with numerous quality problems.

Getting There

To get to the Monolith Area from the North Shore, start off on the East Bluff Trail and hike about 1/2 mile. There will be a slight dip in the trail. The Monolith problems will be on either side of the trail at this point.

Slope of Dadaism V3  WI : Devil's Lake : ... : East of Trail Boulders
A super fun climb, my vote for best V3 in the park! Climb up the left side of large face to slopers up high, top-out. Avoid the left arete....[more]   Browse More Classics in WI

while on my last trip to DL, i vaguely looked for the monolith problems, but did not find them on the trail up to the east bluffs. was it by the gastly john gill problem; the small seam with a few crimpers?

You need to hike up the east bluff trail starting from the North Shore. It appears you started at the CCC lot on the south end.
