Chaz working a problem up on Firemen's road

Description

This boulder can be found on the south side of the fire road that heads to the summit of the West Bluff. The south face holds some interesting, steep problems. Other problems can be found in the area. People have been climbing on this boulder since the 1970s.

Getting There

Follow the fire road up the back side of the West Bluff. Look for a boulder on the right, about halfway up.

There is a good deal of bouldering if you walk into the woods past the fire road boulder - in either direction(across the fire road too, but you have to walk a little ways) - I've done probably 25 problems, up to v6. Best in Fall. A few hard problems that may not have been done yet
