Description

The Guillotine and No Sweat are two smaller formations found at the east end of the East Rampart. The area is great for linking up multipitch routes of three or four small pitches, starting from the CCC Trail and ending east of D'Arcy's Buttress. This area also sees little use, so it's a good alternative for busy days.

Getting There

Hike up the CCC Trail. You will come to a westerly-heading section of trail just before the trail crosses the large exposed talus slope. Just above the trail (to the right) there is a 30-foot section of broken rock. This is No Sweat. To get to the Guillotine directly continue up the CCC trail until you reach the Monster. Turn right at the Monster and walk about 50 feet. Here you will find the Guillotine.

To find the Guillotine Wall turn right at the Monster (as Tom indicated above) but angle down to the right just before you reach the Guillotine.
