12 Feet. Climb the crack on the right side of the arete avoiding the generous corner on the far right. Really really really watch out for that tree. Above 1/2 of the way up, any fall you make will result in an unwanted slide with your back down the tree, and eventually face planting back into the rock.

I came off a couple times near the top while sussing out the moves and had no trouble from said tree. Decent problem. Lotsa gnats.

While the tree is certainly close enough to stay on your mind while you climb, I fell off this problem a few times and had no trouble with the tree, either. I really enjoyed the problem - good, powerful sidepulls and gastons to a dicey fingerlock before the top-out jugs.
