Winter Adventure(s)

I'm getting laid off on February 20th and plan to spend most of my time outdoors while I have the chance. Although I'll be developing a local crag a lot during my time of freedom, I'd like to go bag a big peak or just hike somewhere in the high country. I'm thinking of something like Shasta, Hood or Lassen but I'm definitely not opposed to smaller, lesser traveled areas, it doesn't even really have to be a peak, could just be a cool out of the way spot. Anybody have any ideas preferably within a day drive of Tahoe? |

haha, I'd love to throw that f'n thing off a cliff to signify my departure. Also been debating the scene from Half Baked "F you, F you, you're cool, F you, I'm out!" |
