Hey MP!

So I'm doing it.. I got a van, insulated it, wood-floored it, built a bed and I'm hittin' the road! Gonna live the climber dream.

I'm leaving from Boone, NC (Beautiful place, hard to leave) and headed west!

So any east coasters or midwesteners looking for a ride west and want to help pay for fuel? Could work out a fair deal, 65/35 split on fuel costs? Generally headed in the Denver-ish direction, but not set to any route. Ultimately want to end up in Cali. I'm up for climbing along the way and making an adventure out of it (that's kinda the whole point)!

The benefits? I get a slightly cheaper tab on my ride out west. You get a fairly cheap ride to wherever you want (within reason) in my sweet ride (See Below)! No Baggage fees! No cancellation fees!

Where are you at right now? Unfortunately I'm leaving for China after this weekend, but if you're anywhere near Kentucky/Ohio (Cincinnati or Lexington) I'll take you out to Red River Gorge and climb with you. If you haven't been you should totally check it out before landing out west.

To give a more specific timeline and potential route: I've decided to meet a friend in Moab, leaving in approx. two weeks.

I'm trying to put together a 10-12 day trip to bishop and J tree in the next two months also. Share a camp fire!

If I find myself out there, I will gladly share a fire! Just look for my van, it's fairly easy to spot.
