Who the Concerned Climbers of Arizona (CCoA) are:
|
The Concerned Climbers of Arizona has been formed for the purpose of preserving climbing access and the climbing environment. We advocate for continued recreational access to climbing areas that are threatened by development or other forms of encroachment. |

Do you find that the efforts of the Access Fund and the Queen Creek Coalition are insufficient? |
|
Larry wrote:Do you find that the efforts of the Access Fund . . . are insufficient?Larry, It's my understanding that as the national climber's advocacy group, the AF works with pretty much any and all local grass roots climbing organizations that advocate for climbing access, etc., and usually works alongside and through them on various issues. The CCA is simply another grass roots group and will therefore be working with the AF also. Fred |

Larry & everyone else, |
|
@ Larry, I do beleive the QCC's efforts are insufficient. They have a mission to accomplish and I hope their efforts sufficiently represent your views if you choose to support them. They do not seem sufficient to me, that's why I am a member of the new organization. One that would hope to have your help in the future. |

Unfortunately I don't know enough to be able to provide names or specific details. |

Looks like Resolution Copper will have a new President soon. The current one is retiring. Looks like they have an assignment period of about 1-2 years since this is the 4th one in about 6 +/- years or so. |
|
In their continuing efforts to characterize the ore body beneath the Oak Flat area, Resolution Copper has placed a new drill rig near the entrance to the Euro Dog Access Area. This rig was permitted in the expanded phase of exploration that was approved earlier this year. |

Thanks Fred |
