Whitney conditions? North fork trail

I'm going to be heading up the north fork trail to Russell or Whitney. Does anyone have info or pics on conditions? How about the E Ledges? Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Dan - heading up there possibly the weekend of March 20. If you get up there before then I would appreciate any beta on road closures and the need for snowshoes. Thanks!

Hey Daniel, I was up there a few weeks ago, so my beta has expired. I haven't been following the weather since my trip.
When I was there the road was clear and I parked at the trail head. The snow was thin and there was no need for snow shoes.Definitely take crampons and an ice ax. Watch out for thin snow covering gaps between boulders.
