Has anyone ever attempted or done a Whiteside Mountain Girdle? On July 13, Ryan Little and I finally completed a free girdle without rappels, pendulums, or aid. I just got around to posting the route beta in the database here. Let me know if you know of anyone else doing one and I can change the page accordingly.

Thats pretty damn cool! I had heard of partials and attempts going right to left, but most got hung up on blank sections and lots of pendulums. I think yours is the first complete one. Doc Bayne tried a higher one that would've passed through the Hotel caves but he never finished as I understand it.

Impressive! Good effort to keep working at this thing. It needs a cooler name for such an impressive feat. How about Girdle Durdle? I always like the one in JTree called It's a Girdle!
