Which shoes should I use in Eldo next week?

I have a pair of La Sportiva Muiras VS and also a pair of 5.10 sirens. I usually have the opportunity to climb indoors more often so about 6 months now I've been using the Muiras in my gym. The shoes really preform great and I'm happy with them but now that I'm going back out I'm not sure what shoes to wear. I can wear the Sirens all day with no problem but I have to take off the Muiras in between pitches to give my feet a rest. I'd rather not bring both because I want to save space (all I have is a day pack). It would be hard to fit two pairs with my helmet, harness, atc, and water. If ya'll think its a good idea to bring both, I can always clip a pair outside my pack. The Sirens are about a year old but they're still in pretty good shape. If makes a difference, I'll be climbing mutipitch all day as a second on 5.9-5.10b.

Her profile claims her to be ONLY 17yrs.

Maybe consider going easy on her.

Again, as suggested, don't overthink it. It's simple. You're planning on Multipitch climbing and you DON'T want to be uncomfortable.

Wear the shoes that fit and feel the best for ALL DAY wear.

At the level of climbing you are talking about, you don't really need anything special.

For that matter, shoes don't really make that much of a difference.

Agree with Locker and maybe being generally a little more civil, 17 or not, wouldn't hurt either?

Meg, I think you will have a great time at Eldo. I have a pair of 5.10 coyotes, comfort shoe, that I use a lot for multipitch. Locker actually did a great job re-soling them a couple years ago. I can actually hike short distances in them which is ideal for Eldo so you don't have to haul sandals or walking shoes. Sounds like those 5.10 Sirens are going to work for you.

Thanks Rick, from this day forth I will be more civil because Rick Blair said so.

Thanks to those of you being patient and helpful. I obviously don't have a lot of experience, but I really love the sport and I'm trying!:) I'll try not to overthink it too much, the sirens it is.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
