What's the cheapest price you've seen for Sterling Ion 2 or Mammut Infinity recently?

I've had and loved my Mammut Infinity 70m for over 2 years. I'm ready for a new rope, with either the Ion 2 or the Infinity being my two choices. I definitely want 70m, I also bi pattern or a more reliable middle marker than what the Infinity comes with. I remember my middle marker wearing out after less than 50.

Has anyone seen either rope going for less than $250? Also any recommendations for places taking 20% or more off would be great!

It appears this one is has dry core but is nor dry treated. Is that correct?

I wouldn't know, I don't ice climb so it's definitely not something I would look into myself.

Agreed. Just finding a 70m duodess Infinity is difficult, much less at under $300

Duodess is nice but you can redo the middle mark with a rope marking pen. Blue water makes them and the Sharpie Laundry marker works too.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
