JRat tights, Kinaloa chalkbag, not too sure about that awesome shirt. I also had a JRat swami with velcro tabs for holding gear you were going to need in a hurry.

Hey Joe, That's where I first met you as well, and many other climbers. Theo kept a little order around the place but it was a revolving door of climbers coming and going, from what I remember. Chip was living in one of the closets, wasn't he? I believe someone was. Right across from the park, what a great place. I just noticed when I was organizing my gear this morning that I'm still using a JRAT gear sling. I didn't even realize. Thing is damn durable. Keen Butterworth

Spanky the Hankster sewed my up some real nice custom rat stuff due to my odd biometrics. It was good stuff and special because Hank was the stitchbitch!

My nephews still wear pieces...

Tour Ronde North Face
I have a JRAT balaclava. Super thick/warm 300 weight fleece.

Pink and purple.

I really wish I had bought one of their "RATAGONIA" t-shirts before the Patagonia folks sent them cease and desist letters and they had to stop making them. Very cool t-shirt.

I've got a JRAT harness that served me well 20 years ago, and a Redpoint harness I bought used from some chick in south Boulder a couple years ago. Both are in decent condition.

Which would you choose to use?

P.S. I'm gonna die poor and happy.

I had a JRAT harness that I loved and wore out. Also a Ratagonia t-shirt that had Patagonia's threatening letter printed on the back. wendy weiss

To answer the question as best as I can, J-RAT was based in Boulder CO. One of the early rock climber bags, harness companies that Kevin Furnman (I think was his last name) had been the President. In 1993-94 my Brother Bruce Fishman invested in the Company and they Co-Ran J-Rat.......

The company ran into troubles and so did my brother, who lived and breathed JRat..... My brother left the company, Kevin had still control, but on the day of my brothers funeral, Kevin came to my brother Bruce's funeral to tell me how weird it was that they day my brother died, the bank called in the SBA loan my brother had helped to setup, and the company closed the day of his death.

Thanks guys for talking about J-Rat......
