It's hard not to enjoy a good trundle.

Doesn't look like any climbs were damaged.
Doesn't look like anybody was in the outrun.
Guess it depends on who owns the land and what they think is cool.

I was helping extend the tour route at Glenwood Caverns last winter by helping muck out the blasting debris, and we'd take wheelbarrow loads of rocks and dump them over the side of their Colorado River overlook. Got a few rocks all the way to the bike path a thousand feet below. Seemed like fun at the time.

not cool at all, any trundling that stops short of 500 meters is super gay.

Super stupid and these guys should know better: vimeo.com/cameronmaier
Red Feather would likely be federal land and this is more than a little destructive....typical modern bouldering lameness.

Coffee after freezing our asses off near James Peak.

Well, geologically speaking, that is pretty insignificant. Exfoliation is going to put those rocks down the gradient with or without kids helping out. People can identify those rocks that are right on the edge and give them a little push for amusement, but doing damage? Hardly a concern in the big scheme of things. Is it stupid? The music choice sure is and what is up with the title fonts? Is this some sort of a classic?

I'm with the other guy. If the rocks aren't free falling several dozens of feet why bother? That aint good trundling.

What is really sad is that without iPhones and the internet, these kids would probably have been spending this time climbing, or reading, or playing basketball, or playing music. Instead, they film each other's butt cracks and push rocks down a 60 degree slope that is barely 50 feet tall. Humans are devolving.

obviously they're not cool but trundeling big guys is way fun when done safely!

I don't see this particular case as dangerous, however it's just plain stupid. Sure those geolocically those rocks will fall, but honestly I think it's lame to go out and just start smashing rocks instead of enjoying the beauty.

These kids apparently have some very destructive natures.

What a bunch of spoilsports!

Am I the only person in town who enjoys fireworks, knife throwing and drunken rattlesnake wrestling?

Maybe what they say about Boulder is true.

Right?! If it isn't thugged adolescents kicking Jefferson's eye out from behind at Rushmore with Easy E blasting away in the background, don't bother posting it.

Disgraceful..

I just trundled something bigger than any of those from 800 feet up. Now that's a trundle!

Well..., the trundles were kinda lame, but I got a chuckle from the sheer stupidity of it. Sorta like watching monkeys throw their sh*t and masturbate at the zoo.

Technicalities aside this is pretty lame. Isn't this bearcam guy Dave Graham's personal biographer?

It's completely lame and juvenile. It's a shame to see a nice natural landscape all scarred up now.

When I was like 15 or something, I scrambled way up some random slope in Little Cottonwood Canyon and trundled some big rocks. As I watched the third or fourth boulder smash to bits, I thought to myself: "Hey, I can see the road - I wonder if these rocks are landing on cars?"

I was pretty stupid back then, but aren't all kids? Thank god I didn't kill anyone.

You guys are a bunch of mary's! Haven't you ever had fun being stupid? Kids doing this are a helluva lot better then sitting at home playing video games! Blowing shit up and breaking stuff is part of coming into your own as a man. I still enjoy a good destruction of some kind every once in a while.

Oh wait, it's boulderites and they are mad about messing up nature. Geologic processes biatch... I believe that would be referred to a mechanical weathering!

I agree they need to step it up a notch, but hey, not everyone can trundle like Ed and the other guy!

Watching those climbers trundlle rock on a classic route where they can't see the bottom. Dangerous and ba bad bad form. But holy crap it made my heart stop when the big one blew. Holy @$&!

Yeah the vid was mediocre at best...actually I wouldn't call ANY of those trundles even slightly worthy. The ass shots belong in a 1st grader's youtube project. And whats up with the camera guy standing IN THE TRUNDLE PATH?? F--king idiot!

At least the runout zone was visible and they could tell they weren't going to kill someone. How many of us can say that 100% of our trundling efforts have been 100% safe to others?
