My very first ice lead. The ice was super plastic...
Description This area is hidden behind the trees and reeds and usually contains several lines of ice on the far east side.
This area sees much less traffic than the Middle Clay Pit.
Getting There Continue of the main trail past the Middle Clay Pit and turn left into the next pit area.

CONDITION REPORT | As of 01/29/13 this area was in better than anything else and super sticky!
There was swarms of people there with gardening equipment looking for the medallion - made for some interesting conversation.
I'll head back soon and grab some photos. |
