The Majestic WEST BLUFF

Description

The MidBluff area on the West Bluff contains the fine formations of "The Blade" and the Prospect Point Towers. The area is secluded and sees no crowding in spite of the fine routes found here.

Getting There

To access the MidBluff area follow the Tumbled Rocks Trail north past the cabins. Walk north to the start of the first exposed boulder field. On the south end of this boulder field there is a trail through the trees. Hike up this trail until you reach Prospect Point Towers. To reach The Blade continue hiking up the bluff over boulders on the south side of the Prospect Point Towers formation. After about 150 feet you will encounter The Blade.

Most people I know just refer to this as the "Great Tower" area (plus "The Blade").

Agreed Doug, I confused the hell out of myself trying to match it all up to the book. We also need to do some sorting of routes in areas so it makes some more sense. I think it's fair to call it "Mid-Bluff" but splitting it up into the walls Sven names them is probably a good idea. Admin?
