Description A good welcome to black rocks indeed, this route is a nice way to get started and a nice intro to whats in store for you while visiting. One of the easier routes at the grade, Welcome to Black Rocks won't blow a finger or your confidence. A low crux with a mellow finish makes this the feel good route of the wall. A difficult start through a bulge and big blocky edges gets things moving. Steepening climbing with a few well placed, but shallow edges help maintain the flow.
Location Welcome to Black Rocks sit more towards the west end of The Shady Side between What Was I Thinking and The 5am Lookout.
Protection Six bolts and a rap anchor.
