Welcome Boulder A.K.A. Triangle Boulder
Curtis Schulz on the Triangle Boulder
This boulder will let you know that in fact you aren't lost on some AZ back road.
It also has some great lines on it. Pick your own adventure in general the farther left you go the harder the line and the scarier the top-out.
Right behind this boulder in the same area is the place where one of the developers of AZ climbing met his unfortunate and untimely end, there is a plaque in commemoration.
1st Boulder you'll see. 15ft tall boulder that is very triangular in shape.
Weather station 5.4 miles from here

The rounded boulders a few yards right of the Triangle Boulder hold some surprisingly fun lines, the best being a traverse that starts on a jug at the left, traverses right through the diagonal seam, and tops out on the right boulder. There are also some quality vertical lines on these boulders, along with some neat eliminates.(I think these are the boulders referred to as "Microdots" in Toula's A Cheap Way to Fly, but I'm not 100% sure.)...[more] Browse More Classics in AZ
