Cue the rant about checking for your gear for 2 minutes before you walk away from the crag.

For what it's worth to the person who lost it: I clip my wedding band in to my pack on the keyring clip, or onto a biner.

I would suggest you keep wedding rings in a nice jewelry box at home when you go out rock climbing and wear it when you come home and get cleaned up for dinner. The rest of the time you can yell loudly at members of the opposite sex "I'm MARRIED!!!!" when they talk to you or offer half of their peanut crunch Power bar.

That reminds me of the time some friends and I were out at a bar one Friday night. A super hot girl that was ten years younger than us came up to the bar to order a drink. Meanwhile she starts talking to my buddy who seems to be having a hard time speaking. Another minute goes by and he busts out "I'm married!" You would think this cause an awkward moment but she laughed give us a look then went back to her friends.

I can't count the times we yelled I'm married" the next two months. while hanging out, climbing, mountain biking.. we even called and texted him! Good times!
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
