Trip Report for Wallface Mountain. The tallest cliff in New York.
It surely was an epic.

One thing missing from your TR was a concise "Lessons learned" section. Care to provide one?

Lessons Learned. Don't take on a big wall with an inexperienced climber. Bring plenty of water even if you think you have enough bring extra. Don't get off the trail head because you think you see the right cliff, follow the beta people have given you. Although this trip turned into an epic I enjoyed what I learned from it.

Substitute "big wall" with "day of sport climbing in Boulder canyon" and I could provide a whole slew of similar trip reports!

I enjoyed this. Nothing here was a mistake a seasoned trad climber couldn't make. Who hasn't had an epic or two multipitch trad climbing? They provide some of our most memorable experiences, I always enjoy reading about them.

Epicing on Wallface! An Adirondack tradition.

Nice report. I just got back from spending 2 days on Wallface, but most of the route was soaking wet. Even with the moisture it was an epic trip, Adirondack adventure climbing for sure.
