Wagon tounge gulch road - 11mile canyon

Does anyone have information on the road conditions?
Heading to this area, and wondering about a car vs truck for the camping here.
I know some area roads @ 11mile were recently damaged from water....

I was down there 7/11 weekend and the road was decent for an outback until halfway up when we ran into a stuck Jeep grand cherokee. The issue is that if it rains that section of the road turns into a mud hole. So even if you make it up, I'd be very careful of the weather as you may get stuck coming back down if it happens to rain when you're up there.

Otherwise, the canyon road is in great shape for any car.
