Visiting Denver, eager to climb

Greetings, friends!

I will be in Denver for work and have built a couple of days into my schedule so I can get my climb on. I just advanced to lead climbing indoors and am eager to begin to learn to climb outdoors but I don't really know where to begin. I am looking for a great indoor climbing experience and to perhaps try my hand outdoors while I'm visiting. I'll also be looking for a partner to belay with along the way.

Any advice on where I should visit?

Movement Denver for indoors.

If you have full days and transport, I'd go to Devil's Head. If you need to stay close to Denver, North Table (a blast furnace) and Clear Creek Canyon are your options.

Dude's Throne and the Grendel are also great in Golden Gate Canyon.

Boulder Canyon has lots of fun stuff. The Flatirons and surrounding environs in Boulder are nice.

Hi Danielle!

Some ladies and myself plan to climb around Fort Collins tomorrow if you want to join! All interested in trying leading outdoors. Should be fun! Feel free to message me if you're interested in coming out.

Hey there Ray, I won't actually be in town until later in the month-- I've carved out Sunday the 26th through Tuesday the 28th specifically for any climbing opportunities. I'd love to take you up on your offer later in the month!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
