The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
Step off the slab and onto the featured arete, working your way back and forth slightly to find the easiest line. At the top the angle kicks back a little and some delicate holds demand some care as you make the last moves to the anchor. Great rock and positioning on this one.
