First day climbing in Red Rocks. Got to playing around with some editing software and decided to try out a video trip report this time. Enjoy

Rawlpindi! Very nice video, Greg. Thanks for sharing it. What editing software did you use and did you use a mechanical device for your panning shot of the Red Rock rock? Jason Halladay

Thanks Jason. Really glad you liked it. I used adobe premiere pro for the majority and after effects for the guide book sequence in the intro and handwriting animation in the credits. Didn't use anything fancy for the pan actually. Just used a Gorillapod Video Tripod (carefully:)) and shot everything with my Canon s100 Greg Howland

I love it when ya'll have some semblance of video production skills (attractive girlfriends don't hurt either) and can put together a quality trip report like this. But I have to ask... No post-climb tailgate beers? Otherwise, nice effort. Zirkel

Zirkel, it definitely helps. Notice how I've kept my ugly mug out of most of the footage? Haha. Thanks for the feedback on the video and glad you liked it. We definitely lacked the normally ritual post-send beers.... at the car. Drove into town and met some friends from the area at the local watering hole aka Islands ;) Greg Howland

Climbing a coulior of steep snow on the First Asce...
Very nice video. Did you get your editing programs on the internet? I just made a beta video/ trip report from a climb this summer on my friend's mac... I have a pc, but there is no video editing program installed standard on my computer. David Hertel

I utilized adobe opening ace for the greater part and delayed consequences for the manual grouping in the intro and penmanship liveliness in the credits. Didn't utilize whatever for the container genuinely. Hombler
