We’ve never met an MPer in person who we didn’t end up liking, so in honor of that we are hosting an "MP Beer Night House Party." We’ll have the usual climbers’ party stuff jumpin'- food, drinks, music, climbing chatter, and maybe even some cool climbing DVDs playing. MP Beer Nights are not a bad place to hook up with partners either!

Time: TBD, but will most likely start around 6pm

Place: @ Jonny, and Gigi's place

We’re shooting for a potluck style gathering with a grill going for those who want to bring their favorite food to barbecue. For those climbers on a tight budget, John, and I will have food, and drinks available to share, so if unable to bring anything, no worries!

Visiting climbers are invited too. : )

If you truly don't mind...I will be in town for the Future of Fixed Anchors Conference on the 16-18th. After that I have a week or so, I can go climbing. I would love to burn something on that BBQ with you guys and it sounds like a lot of fun!

I'm very safe at the grill and have good Qing habits.

Update-
The Vegas Beer Night/party is coming together nicely! I've sent out replies to the PMs I have so far received. If I missed anyone, please let me know! PMs through MP can be a little fussy at times. We have some really cool locals, and a few out of town climbers who are planning on making it. We definitely have room for more, so don't be shy fellow MPs! We're only about a 15 minute mellow drive from the campground/Red Rock. Besides the regular party stuff, we have a dart board too, so if you play and have your own darts, bring em. : )

We're glad you can make it, Adam! Some great folks (locals, and visiting climbers) are planning on coming- should be a good time! We're starting at 5pm, but the Beer Night/party will continue on throughout the eve, as some might be late arrivals from work, or climbing. If there's anymore visiting or local climbers interested in stopping by, please don't hesitate to PM.

Bump for the Vegas MP Beer Night, woohoo!

Gigi and I are looking forward to seeing everyone Wednesday night at our house. We've gotten a lot of responses via private message, so it should be a great turnout. We just climbed out at Brownstone Wall today, the weather is great right now. I wanted to extend a special thanks to Tony B. from Boulder; he has provided us with four climbing DVDs for our viewing pleasure including "Front Range Freaks" and "Return to Sender". We will have the BBQ fired up at around 5pm and we also have a firepit in the backyard and a dartboard in the garage.
