Description Suggest change

Vector is the route of the buttress, and a classic of the time. It picks a way through the steep overhangs of the buttress via both technical and strenuous moves.

1. Climb the groove then move right onto a slab. From here move up left to belay at a spike.

2. The crux of the route. Traverse right to reach a diagonal crack. Move on up the crack then continue to the bottom of the hanging slab. Climb the slab (crux) to its top. From the top of the slab move left and up to belay below overhangs.

3. Move left of the stance and after pulling through an overhang continue left. When possible make a strenuous move to gain a shallow groove which is followed to the stance.

4. Climb easily up right to finish this classic climb.
