Heading out on a multi-month road trip at the beginning of January, living out of a van.
First spot we're hoping to hit is Hueco tanks. Does anyone know if there's anywhere nearby it's possible to park overnight without paying fees? We don't need anything fancy, just some (safe!) place to park at night and sleep.

All the land around Hueco is privately owned. Your best bet is to meet and befriend some of the locals if you are looking to stay out there.

yeah and some place where the border patrol won't mess with you. El Paso man...

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
