vandalism at Lone Peak

Graffiti at the top of the Summit wall of Lone Peak. LAME!
Who is Greg Maas? He needs to clean up this mess. Not acceptable! |
I feel that the point has been made. I'm taking down the links to their FBs. |

Yes. He tweeted about it as well. Google archived he went with his buddy Eric Landon. Google. Is there nothing you don't know about us. PT |

See my above comment. |

Is that from a marker or the end of a burnt stick? |
I think it's magic marker. Definitley NOT burnt wood stick. |
1119 facebook friends?!? |
Is that summit only accessible via 5th class terrain? |
The summit is accessible via rock scrambling. Tons of people go up there eveyr year. I sent both of them personal messagaes through facebook. I'm planning on going up there again in 2 weeks. The graffiti'd better not be there by then! |
they should be able to hike up there with some cleaning supplies considering they hiked it with 30 lb weight vests. EXTREME!!!! |
WTF!!? |
Anyone know if you can be fined for that? That could be a good incentive to get them back up there. |
If they're dumb enough to leave their full names I think someone should send this photo to whoever is in charge of management...fines should be in order. |
LAME!!!! learn some respect for mother nature!!! |

I messaged both of them, and posted on my wall so hopefully more of my friends will message them. I don't expect it to really change anything - but I'd like the shitheads to know they are hated :) |
I messaged them as well... totally unacceptable behavior. |

A respectful message has been sent to the alleged pair; this particular issue can be handled by our local climbing community, and does not--in my own opinion--need to involve the Pleasant Grove Ranger District. Don't get me wrong, this bums me out--I can safely say--more than any other human being on the planet with respect to the amount of time I've put in there, but I would prefer not to allow the internet to escalate a situation that can easily be dealt with privately, and diplomatically.
