I want to get out to IC as soon as possible. Labor Day weekend if its not too hot. I've never been there before. I got a rack, rope and a truck. I have never lead a pure crack before. I lead 5.8 trad and 5.11 sport. I want to get on some classic 10s.

I'm planning to head out mid-Sept for The Creek for my 5th trip in 3 years. Really psyched about getting back there.

I love camping & climbing there, especially finger & hand cracks. It sounds like we're climbing at the same level.

I'll arrive either the 17th/18th or 23rd of Sept, and stay till 22/23 Oct.

Hey Peggy(and others on this post) I'm not sure if you remember me but we climbed together at the creek for a couple of days in 07'. We climbed on Way Rambo wall and another. I too will be at the creek, I'm headed down there shortly and should be there by the 3rd of October. I most likely will stay down there until Thanksgiving. I have a silver toyota 4 runner with WY plates. I most likely will be staying at the Bridger Jacks camp ground. I've seen indian people climbing before (only in CA though). I've never seen two indian dudes climbing though. Practice your ululation, maybe we can get deported.

I've got monday through friday to kill and wanted to get some crack time in. And I've got triples up to a BD #2...

And if I just showed up would people be there? I've never climbed IC...I always have people to go with to Zion and Canyonlands where if you see another climber it's kinda novel...so being partnerless would I be ok this time o year?

Despite the bad weather this weekend and coldish temps next week, I am sure there will be people down there all week. If in doubt go to supercrack. I personally guarantee not only people but crowds this time of year at that particular buttress.
