A short, enjoyable route using many positive edges for hands and feet.
Start on the ledge directly below the slabby face. Climb up solid, lichen-covered quartzite passing three bolts to chain anchors. Note thankfully that you're not climbing on the original hardware. Going up and over the slight bulge after the third bolt is a bit of fun.
Location
I'm Not Lichen This climbs up the middle of the west-facing slab that is to the immediate north of the main Ed and Terry Wall.
Super fun face climbing! Approach is a bit awkward but is definitely worth it. Perin Blanchard just replaced the old bolts so this is now a fairly safe route.
A surprisingly fun route. Really solid crimps the whole way. I first did this route a long time ago and was too new and dumb to be scared of the funky bolts. Thanks again for the hardware upgrade, guys.
Where did the FA credit originate? I don't think this was one of Dave's routes. His alu hangers were stamped DPH and he used rawl splits exclusively. Also, this route was put up long after he had gradauted and left the hood. The truth is out there...
