This, as the name says, is a direct start to Cool World. It starts at the 2nd set of bolts to the right and ends at the same anchor point as Cool World. The first pitch is an easy 5.6. After the first pitch continue up on Cool World.
Location
Walk 200 feet past the second bridge. The route is on the east face of the wall across the creek bed. Start on the second set of bolts up from the creek bed.
I think it's important to note that the "Direct" refers to the 5.6 start. Which is only so-so, but you can combine the first and second pitches by going this way. I still think the best way to go is to climb the original first pitch. The features are just so unique!
