Description

Start up crack/slab to first bolt.
Climb straight up on a steepish face, then pull on to and finish up the tricky arete.
70m rope is helpfull, a 60m will leave an easy 10ft downclimb.

Location

At the very south end of The Keel.
Starts at crack right of Spotted Fever.
You walk right by it when heading up to the Coffin.

Protection

Bolts.
Hand size cam for the starting crack then sling a tree.
NOTE optional hard to place orange tcu between bolts 2 and 3

Thankyou, oh wise man, keeper of the crags.
Yeah, I forgot a 60m is a bit of a stretch.

2 stars out of 4?, you truly are a hard man to please.

Small tcu helps at the beginning but doesn't help the rope drag for the crux. That's a pretty cool arete feature up there.

Stepped on a bolt!?!?, think yourself lucky you did not fall on it, who knows what might have happened.
Glad you liked the rte, good to meet you and your mate.

If you sling the tree, sling long and clip the 1st bolt long otherwise rope drag will kill you. Expect some grit, some grunge, and some fun off balance moves.
