Description 

The crux is the approach. It's long, but quiet, which can be quite nice sometimes. Enjoy the view of the bull elk across the canyon, wonder where the mountain lion whose tracks you crossed on the hike in might be...

Location 

Hike up the trail in the bottom of the drainage to the 30' waterfall. Just SW of the waterfall, there will be a 80' WI3 flow. Climb the WI3, continue hiking up the avalanche gully for approximately 600' to the base of the three pillars.

Protection 

screws for the ice, knifeblades for the M-3 (?) direct finish.
