I am getting ready for the SIET School for International Expedition Training in Peru next year. After this semester is over i will be traveling as much as possible in between the months of December 13 and June 14 to gain as much experience as I can before my expedition next year. I have experience leading multi-pitch, twin/half ropes, aid climbing, higher elevations, etc. I however have not been able to get on as much ice and snow seeing as how i live in south Georgia.
Travel to most of the U.S. is not an issue unless around holidays when the airports are packed. I also do not mind driving North of Georgia into North Carolina, West Virginia, etc.
Now, what i am asking. Anyone with experience willing to partner up and pass on a bit of knowledge would be greatly appreciated or even just recommendations on where some good spots to go would be helpful. I have all the necessary gear, just lacking partners with the willingness and discipline to join me as I break through to the next level.
