Description Suggest change

The Gully Wall is the narrow series of faces to the right (N) of the main trail up to the top of west side of the south canyon (and south of the large South Buttress). It has three tiers;

1) the lower section with 3 sport routes,

2) the longer middle section with 2 mixed routes,

3) the shorter, steeper upper face with 2 sport routes.

All three sections have some very nice rock with interesting features. The lower area has morning sun and afternoon shade, and the middle and upper faces have sun until later in the day.

Getting There Suggest change

Approach as for the NW End crags. Follow the main canyon trail until it opens into the meadow at the base of the South Buttress, then head west towards the gully. The lower wall is reached directly from the valley floor, the middle wall from part way up the gully trail, and the upper wall from near the top of the gully trail.
