Description

The Upper Wall is located high up on the hillside directly uphill from the base of Real Hidden Valley. The crag 30-40' tall with mostly mixed bolts and gear routes.

Getting There

Walk uphill from the base of the Real Hidden Valley crag for 10-15 minutes. Stay slightly west and angle back east somewhat to avoid a steeper bit of terrain.

This is the far right route with fixed gear on the crag.Jam up the narrowing crack that angles to the right of the 1st bolt. Pull onto the face. Make a balancy mantle move to the second bolt. The obvious line seems to utilize a triangular, seemingly solid hold that makes one not want to put one's face in front as you load it. Be careful with that top block above the anchor. It seems to be just sitting there. The rating I gave may reflect the left shoulder discomfort I've had of late....[more]   Browse More Classics in CO

Thanks for adding all of this info for me, Leo. I was going to do it when I added the Real Hidden Valley area but forgot about it over time. I have been busy working on a guide for NH climbing! Thanks again.
I hope to get back out there next season to enjoy the excellent climbing you have in CO!
Cheers,
