Ol Solo Meo 5.6 at the Mine area of Queen Creek

Description

Upper Looner Land is yet another collection of towers and is found to the west of Lower Looner Land at the confluence of two large washes. The classic route (the first route put up in the Mine Area, in fact) Spinal Tap, is located here.

Getting There

Approach to Upper Looner Land can be done two different ways. You can reach the area by continuing west from Lower Looner Land (about five minutes), or you can hike directly there from the parking lot, by heading up the wash that goes west from the lot and then make a slight left (south) when the towers appear.
